Hi Hi!
We are a French-Mexican couple, with a baby 6 months old Amani, we have a piece of land in the mountains in a community near San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. We have a cabin with two dogs Nala and Canelo and a cat Balul!
We put a lot of energy and love into this ecoproject and we are looking for people who loves the nature and a way of living simple in harmony with the land, .
We are looking for a couple of volunteers who agree to stay for one week at least , the tasks are different, for example: fixe the walls, clean the filter of water , electricity, taking care of baby, make the somethings with wood in the house, cokking, clean the land, etc etc. So if you have knowledge in construction, carpintery, permaculture , don´t hesitate in contact us.
The cabin is made of mud, wood and straw. We have an equipped kitchen, dry bathroom, hot water with solar heater, electricity, internet, drinking water, a room with. For the volunteers we offer one room 50 mt of the cabin with toilet.
We live in Santa Rosa, a native community 20 minutes by car from the Merposur market, about 30 families live in the community, within the community there are some small stores where you can get very basic food. Our little piece of land is a little outside the center of the community (200m). There are two colectivos (transport) that go to and from San Cristobal every 30 min, near our place (a 10-minute walk).
San Cristóbal is a magical town that offers many cultural and traditional events, there is a lot of good music. It has some beautiful parks around it.
It is important for us to receive people who share our values. Respect for the environment, for all the beings that live around us and for the planet in general. No type of discrimination is allowed in our home. Love and altruism will save us!!!

Somos una pareja franco-mexicana, con un bebé de 6 meses Amani ,ctenemos un pedazo de terrenito a la montaña en una comunidad cerca de San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. Tenemos una cabañita con dos perritos Nala y Canelo y un gatito Balul!
Pusimos mucha energía y amor en este ecoproyecto y estamos buscando seres amantes de la naturaleza, y de una forma simple de vivir en armonía con la tierra.
Estamos buscando uno o dos de voluntarios que puedan quedarse una semana como minimo, las tareas son variadas, necesitamos hacer varios arreglos en la casa, por ejemplo : repellar algunos muros con barro, limpiar la trampa de grasas, instalaciones electricas, cuidar por ratitos a bebé, cambiar el sistema de baño seco, hacer una extensión del cuarto con madera, limpiar el terreno, cocinar , mantenimiento de la casa, pasear a los perros, construcción de una barra en la cocina, cercar el terreno, etc, etc. Entonces si tinenes conocimiento en construcción , carpintería, electricidad , permacultura , no dudes en contactarnos.
La cabaña es de barro, madera y paja. Tenemos cocina equipada, baño seco, agua caliente con calentador solar, electricidad, buen internet, agua potable, tiene una sola habitación. Para los voluntarios ofrecemos una pequeña habitación con baño, y a 50 metros de la cabaña.
Vivimos en Santa Rosa, una comunidad nativa a 20 minutos en carro del mercado Merposur, alrededor de 30 familias viven en la comunidad, dentro de la comunidad hay algunas pequeñas tiendas donde se puede conseguir alimentos muy básicos. Nuestro terrenito esta un poquito a fuera del centro de la comunidad (200m). Hay dos colectivos (transporte) que van y regresan de San Cristobal cada 30 min, cerca de nuestro lugar (a 10 minutos caminando).
San Cristóbal es un pueblo mágico que ofrece muchos eventos culturales, tradicionales hay mucha buena música. Tiene unos parques hermosos a su alrededor.
Es importante para nosotros recibir personas que comparten nuestras valores. el respeto al medio ambiente, a todos los seres que viven a nuestro alrededor y el planeta en general. Ningún tipo de discriminación esta permitido en nuestro hogar. El Amor y el altruismo nos van a salvar!!!

If you like to be relax and conect with nature we can spend time contemplating and walking in the mountain. We come to the town once a week.... also there´s a colective transport ... San Cristobal will steal your heart,... beautiful and has many attractions around like the pyramids, also amazing diversity of colors, flavors, rivers , waterfalls, arts and culture!
