From this coastal paradise, we re-imagine and transform scrap materials into light clothing and accessories. This is a rolling call for applicants who´d like to become involved with the organization, whether that be through marketing and social media, or design and tailoring. There´s a focus on diversity, and each new member is encouraged to express themselves freely, proposing ideas for the company and its designs.
Our team is a family, living and working together in the HQ and upstairs studio. Feeding Cachi the pig, drinking smoothies, watching the famous sunset over San Pancho beach; these are a few of the staples.
From the summer onwards we´ll be looking to integrate even more closely and effectively within the local community.
As 2019 approaches, we are in the midst of starting a new 6 month startup project here at Recio. September 1st, 2018 to December 20th, 2018, we are experimenting with materials, new designs, and deciding our area of focus for this new project. These three months will also be used to focus on production and manufacturing of our fashion collection. The final three months of the project, January 4th until April 1st, will be focused on marketing and sales of the collection we have created.
We will have an opening for another fashion designer/seamstress/tailor/creative mind from October 27th to December 20th.

As well as improving their own skills, successful applicants will learn from a range of successful creatives and develop their personal network. We act as an outlet for its partners to hone their craft and get their work out there. You´ll also be contributing to a growing movement of organizations united against wastage.
And there will be plenty of free time. San Pancho itself is a friendly hodge-podge of all the world´s cultures and features diverse restaurants, galleries, and music venues. The beach is beautiful and welcomes surfers from all over the country. The mountains offer stunning birds and hikes. We´re also very close to Puerto Vallarta and its international airport as well as the beautiful town of Sayulita.
Marketing, social media, painting and construction, design, fashion, dyeing, clothing and sewing, creative work, photography, graphic design, sustainability. Recycled materials and all that comes with them require creativity and flexibility.

Spacious, modern, clean house in the quiet part of town, about 20 minutes walk from the beach and a stone´s throw from anything you need. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Workshop studio on the upper-floor. WiFi, washing facilities, and fans in every room. Food is not included but you have access to a full kitchen and there is a good grocery market and store nearby. The rooms are private and very comfortable, with clean bed-sheets and towels available.
San Pancho and Sayulita are great towns to move around and get to know. There is the beach and the mountains for swimming and hiking, plentiful surf, fishing, bird watching, and much more. There is often live local music and fun places to go out nearby.
