    Updates
21/2: Not been able to work much outdoors as there’s frost. No space left for other volunteers until April we are currently 4, camping is an option for the brave ones.

12/2: In the making of a pit compost toilet

30/12: Still looking for a long-term volunteer (one person). Next availability for groups is in February. Thank you!

11/12: Searching for a long-term volunteer (until April) to help with household chores so Ariel can focus more on the land. Tasks include laundry, dishes, cooking, and general house cleaning (e.g., vacuuming). Don’t worry—it’s a shared effort! While we’ll also pitch in, we’re looking for someone to take responsibility for the house and help care for us, so we can care for the land.

9/12: New tasks and projects underway:

    Building a second earth bed.
Planning a shared space for chickens and a donkey.
Improving accessibility to the land by building new steps.
Moving large quantities of mushroom soil.
    Clearing and maintaining bushes.
28/11: Three people recently helped dig large holes and create earth beds for spring veggies. Next, we’re building more spaces for red wiggler worms by filling two bathtubs!

13/10: All fruit trees have been planted! Currently moving mushroom soil to the land. Starting in December, we’ll burn and clear old thorns and branches cut last year. It’s getting cold—time to get cozy! We love company in the mountains, cooking, and playing board games.

16/9: I need help planting fruit trees! We’re planting 70 fruit trees and 70 native trees, all designed using natural agroforestry principles.

    About the Project
    Hello everyone!

In February 2024, I purchased a piece of land in a rural mountain area with a beautiful waterfall and stream (active from September to early June). The land had been abandoned for 20–25 years, but now we’re bringing it back to life!

This project is all about organic food production, sustainable living, and education through action—for ourselves and anyone inspired to join. I believe in a mutual exchange of knowledge: I’ll teach what I know and learn from what you share.

The land is simple and full of natural beauty, with plenty of shade and microclimates created by walnut, hazelnut, and almond trees. We work intuitively, listening to our bodies and nature: sunny days are for outdoor work, rainy days for indoor activities. Decisions are made collectively, and there are no strict obligations.

Please Note: Volunteers must be comfortable with sharing the space with others, as there may be multiple volunteers staying here at the same time.

    Accommodation & Food
We share and cook meals together (food is provided, including special dietary requests). On your days off, you can either prepare meals for yourself or contribute a small donation (3€ per day).

In our free time, we enjoy a variety of activities:

Taking long walks in nature and foraging.
Swimming in the natural pool (when the river is active).
Playing board games and relaxing by the fire.
