Raffael, Raffa, Raf... spent 10 days at my place and that made his time filled with variety of activities. He appeared to be a skillful handy man who delt with both designing and doing an essential and complicated insulation layer on the part of the heating system in my cellar. Raffa worked in my garden, turning over the compost. He cleared my

I also appreciated a lot his driving skills when we were going to town for specific shopping in his super hyper Fiat Panda van car . And what got deeply recorded in the memory of myself and several of my folks was Raffael's nice presentation of his Panda to the schoolgirls who were having a birthday party at the neighbouring house of my daughter. That was amazingly kind, soft a delighful presentation and experience to those girls to listen to Raffa's English and try his Panda's facilities...Thank you Raffael for your good job, our cuisine and other talks, our walk to the castle hill and watching together some movies. That was a bit intensive but a nice time to have you here, thank you and see you back soon :)
I am very grateful for this experience.
Ewa is a fantastic woman who is very nice, cultured and intelligent as well as sporty and empathic. We had a lot of fun working, walking around, cooking, eating and watching great documentaries together. She knows many things and it was very nice to learn and talk with her, and she showed me around many

I already miss the place where she lives. It's a lovely house at the foot of a spectacular forest and near a delightful village. From there I could easily reach Krakow which is a very beautiful city. There is a lake nearby, actually more than one lake and the mountains are not far away either. I had a very nice private room for my self with a terrace and a beautiful panorama!
Thank you Ewa hope to see you soon again!!

Emily spent two weeks at my place and appeared to be a very kind, helpful, responsive and inventive person. We had a good time together in February, which is usually a cold and rather gloomy month in my country, good enough just to stay at home enjoying a good reader, knitting or napping. Yet, for both of us it was a time of working on walls -
… read more plastering, sandpapering, painting and then admiring the job. Emily was a leader in this whereas myself was taking my time to rest, to come up with some ideas of menu and sometimes an evening entertainment with good movies. Cooking and having meals together, going sightseeing were also part of the time we had here. I'm really grateful for Emily's assistance and low-keyed behaviour especially when I felt weaker and had to rest. Thank you Emily and looking forward to have another go in summmer time. Bless you.

I am so grateful the two weeks I got to spend with Ewa in her home! She is a fountain of knowledge on many different topics especially surrounding indigenous lifestyles and living in a way of respecting nature - one of my favourite activities was watching how many finches, tits and woodpeckers would come up to the windows collecting the food left

The house is surrounded by beautiful woodlands and valleys which we got to explore together. The majority of tasks I was helping with was plastering, painting, and helping organize drawers/helping with technology such as setting up phones, and cracking walnuts from the nearby trees. I had a great time working with Ewa to cook warming meals, partially using some stock from the garden, and spending time with Sonja, Ewas daughter who lives next door, and her lovely dogs!

Throughout a week of her stay Weronica let herself know as a nice, kind person. We spent long hours collaborating in the kitchen, in the garden, going sightseeing or just socializing on spot. I value her talents I managed to experience, her eye of an artist, creativity, curiosity about good things in life and her wonderful taste in spicing meals.

The stay at Ewa's place was simply lovely, so obviously it was too short. Hopefully it wasn't the last visit:) I can fully recommend Ewa as a host, but also as a person. Very hospitable, easygoing with a big knowledge and experience. Also you can feel very homely there as the area and the house are cosy and pretty, beautiful nature around:)
