Looking for help all year round

I live in a rebuilt stone barn ( 4 years old) on the shores of the Irish Sea in the beautiful area that is Strangford Lough, a tourists paradise with many stunning places nearby waiting to be explored.
Also a place of special interest for marine biology and a photographers dream location .

I am a retired teacher and artisan (having taught at university level in art and spacial awareness to art and architect studends ) I still paint regularly, and exhibit my work in my home every couple of years.

Music is my other great passion, I play the piano and organ and was choirmaster of the area choir up until a couple of years ago.

I am looking for some help in the house, mainly preparing healthy meals and some other light household duties . I enjoy vegatables but am not vegetarian.

A new project this year is to create an organic vegetable garden for which large raised beds (boxes) need to be made.
Ground works at my home are still in progress..a new garden area is being worked on at the front of the house. Both properties need painted this autumn.

At the moment I am recovering from surgery and am somewhat curtailed in my mobility and indurance but I'm improving by the day.😊😊

In retun you will have a comfortable bedroom and bathroom, full board and in some cases the use of the car (insurance allowing)

There are 2 mountain bikes here for your use

We are 3 miles from the village.
I like a minimum of 3-4 weeks,a longer period if all parties are happy but, will accept shorter stays

There are places of interest all around the lough with large empty beaches and a good chance to see seals basking on the rocks.
A lovely light house nearby ,unfortunally not open to the public.but you can visit the area close by.
There are 2 country houses set in parkland ,open to the public nearby; Castleward and Mount Stewart and a bird sanctuary/ wetlands park.
A beautiful birdhide looking out over Strangford Lough for the bird watchers .especially interesting watching the birds who overwinter here.
