    Description

For work I hold several hats. I'm an independent data scientist working from home. I work on a project at the intersection of art & technology. I'm a professional cuddler. I facilitate mind altering ceremonies.

I hold a Ph.D. in Physics with a neuroscience focus. I wear colorful clothes that make me feel alive, smile and laugh often, and love to have thoughtful conversations. I love to move my body and also get lost in my mind. I've hitchhiked through over 20 countries, lived in my van, but now am seeking a little bit of grounding in this wild world.

Four other friends also live here in our 7 bedroom house. They each studied psychology, geology, philosophy and physics in grad school.

We are looking specifically for musicians, chefs, and other creatives. I'd like to learn from you!

At the end of your stay I'd hope that you have shared your craft with me (and maybe others) and left a learning reference (writing, a video, etc) so that we could continue to access your teaching after you've left! That might look like a written recipe, some clips of video of how to play a song, etc.

I entertain workawayers at any time but especially need them for times listed on my calendar! If you send a request for a time on the calendar I am much more likely to offer an exchange!

Additionally we try to get a workawayer to stay at least once a month to help us specifically with cleaning the common areas around the house. For instance you might want to stay for an extended weekend. Whether explicitly here for cleaning or not, we hope that you help around the house to proactively keep common areas clean.

    Accommodation

There is a smaller room that you will have to yourself. You will share a bathroom and kitchen with a few other roommates and guests. There is a yard area and awesome swinging couch on our front porch. You will be responsible for your own food but on occasion I'll share things with you (especially if you're cooking for us). We can coordinate sharing bulk items too if desired.
