Description
The Community is a christian community (Roman Catholic) with an ecumenical vocation, which grew out of a prayer group in Lyon, France. Couples, families and celibates, men and women, have chosen community life to follow Christ and serve the Church and the world. We give our lives to Unity. Everyone is welcome! You don't need to be a religious person to come help us, but we ask you to respect our faith as we respect others'. We encourage dialog and a simple lifestyle.
The abbey, with its religious life and its historical and cultural visits, is also a training centre for many families. We offer to help with the day-to-day running of the abbey, the upkeep of the site and the many renovation projects.
A life in a quiet place, between work and prayer, as well as the opportunity to discover the richness of fraternity and sharing. There are around 120 of us living at the abbey, and we come from 16 different countries
Our house being a training center, we have chosen to welcome mainly young people in order to have a group of about the same age. We therefore give priority to young people between 21 and 35.

Parejas, familias y hombres y mujeres consagrados solteros han elegido la aventura de la vida comunitaria como seguidores de Cristo, para servir a la Iglesia y al mundo. Damos nuestra vida por la Unidad. Todos son bienvenidos. No hace falta ser religioso para venir a ayudarnos, pero te pedimos que respetes nuestra fe como nosotros respetamos la fe de los demás. Fomentamos el diálogo y un modo de vida más sencillo.
La abadía, con su vida religiosa y sus visitas históricas y culturales, es también un centro de formación que acoge a muchas familias. Nos ofrecemos para ayudar en el día a día de la abadía, en el mantenimiento del lugar y en los numerosos proyectos de renovación.
Una vida en un lugar tranquilo, entre el trabajo y la oración, así como la oportunidad de descubrir la riqueza de la fraternidad y del compartir. En la abadía vivimos alrededor de 120 personas procedentes de 16 países diferentes.
Como nuestra casa es un centro de formación, hemos optado por acoger principalmente a jóvenes para tener un grupo más o menos de la misma edad. Por lo tanto, damos prioridad a los jóvenes de entre 21 y 35 años.

Nous sommes une communauté religieuse (catholique) à vocation œcuménique, elle est née d'un groupe de prière à Lyon (France). Couples, familles, célibataires consacrés hommes et femmes ont choisi l’aventure de la vie communautaire à la suite du Christ pour se mettre au service de l’église et du monde. Nous donnons notre vie pour l'Unité. Tous sont bienvenus ! Vous n'avez pas besoin d'être une personne religieuse ou croyante pour venir nous aider, mais nous vous demandons de respecter notre foi comme nous respectons celle des autres. Nous encourageons le dialogue et une simplification de vie.
L’abbaye, avec notre vie religieuse et les visites historiques et culturelles est aussi un centre de formation accueillant de nombreuses familles. Nous proposons de nous aider dans les services de la vie quotidienne, dans l’entretien du site et aussi dans de nombreux travaux de rénovation.

The Abbey welcomes tourists who love art and heritage.
We invite you to help us maintain this place by renovating the buildings and maintaining the grounds (mowing, pruning, weeding, etc.), and to take part in the day-to-day activities (cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc.).

La Abadía acoge a los turistas amantes del arte y el patrimonio.
Le invitamos a ayudarnos a mantener este lugar mediante la renovación de los edificios y el mantenimiento de los terrenos (cortar el césped, podar, desherbar, etc.), y a participar en las actividades diarias (limpieza, cocina, lavandería, etc.).

L'Abbaye accueil des touristes amoureux d’art et de patrimoine.
Nous vous proposons de nous aider à entretenir ce lieu par la rénovation des bâtiments ainsi que l’entretien du parc (tonte, taille, désherbage...) et à participer aux activités de la vie quotidienne (ménages, cuisine, lingerie…)

Accommodation
We offer individual single rooms. Sharing your room with another workaway volunteer might be asked of you if we lack space. The toilets and showers are located in the hallway nearby and are shared. We expect you to clean your room and to participate in the cleaning of the showers and toilets.
We offer you the main meals (breakfast, lunch and diner) and also snacks.
We have unlimited internet connection available.
Alcohol and smoking are not allowed in the abbey.

Ofrecemos habitaciones individuales. Ocasionalmente, se te puede pedir que compartas tu habitación con otro voluntario de workaway si no hay espacio suficiente. Los aseos y las duchas están en el pasillo y son compartidos. Te pedimos que mantengas tu habitación limpia y que ayudes a limpiar los aseos y las duchas.
También proporcionamos comidas (desayuno, almuerzo y cena) y aperitivos.
Disponemos de conexión ilimitada a Internet.
El alcohol y los cigarrillos no están permitidos en la abadía.

Nous proposons des chambres individuelles. Parfois, il peut vous être demandé de partager votre chambre avec un(e) autre bénévole workaway s'il manque d'espace. Les toilettes et les douches se trouvent dans le couloir et sont partagées. Nous vous demandons de bien nettoyer votre chambre et de participer au ménage des toilettes et des douches.
Nous vous offrons aussi les repas (petit-déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner) ainsi que le goûter.
Nous avons une connexion Internet illimitée disponible.
L'alcool et la cigarette ne sont pas permises dans l'abbaye.

Everything is very organised and everyone is friendly and welcoming which makes for a good community atmosphere.
