Description
Hi I am a mumma of one school boy who is a full time rural veterinarian, living rurally between the east and west coasts of lower Northland. We have some horses and live next to a large sheep & beef farm, with an unfinished tiny house building project.
Nearby there are east coast surf breaks and very good west coast fishing. I like to do building projects in my spare time and previous backpackers have used my tools to fix their vans :-) we have some internet, rudimentary bathroom, tiny house kitchen, linen, etc. I prefer couples/two people, who must be animal friendly. No smokers please.
There is a lot of yard/shed tidying work to do, to enable us to complete a second tiny house for a self contained stay. Currently, the 30sq m building is unlined…. just a weather proof shell used as storage.Types of help and learning opportunities

The north is rich in Maori Culture, and we have awsum surfing and fishing beaches. We are 4km from Kaiwaka but welcome visitors onto our property for stays.

Help
I want to be able to have more self care time after work, while developing a garden (garden forest), and a tiny house for better stay experiences. I like to have help with preparing meals and hanging out with my son if I get called out to a sick animal, or I’m late home from work.

Accommodation
Camping/glamping/fitting out a tiny house …but currently it is an empty shell. I really need a builder and will pay for extra hours!
What else ...
As above, our place is all about the beach/surfing/fishing, and access everywhere is by car, bike or walking. No public transport. We are the closest town to Cape Reinga a famous tourist spot.
