I spent 3 weeks staying with Gary, Wei Wei, their lovely daughter Nana and very sweet greyhound Blue Moon in Cockatoo. It was a very lovely time being part of their family for a bit. They are incredibly generous people, and I felt very comfortable there. They taught me how to make some yummy Chinese dishes, and communicated very clearly about the

They were kind to let me borrow their car on my days off, so I was able to explore the beautiful area they live around. When Gary would go into the city, they offered to drive me in too so I could spend time in Melbourne CBD as well.
The work arrangement was easy and fair. It was a peaceful and refreshing stay, surrounded by nature, great food and very good conversations. I would definitely stay with them again in the future.
To Gary and Wei Wei, thank you for everything. I am so excited for your family to grow and for you to welcome your daughter Meadow into this world.Left by host for Workawayer (Sydney)

There wasn't much work every day. The key point was that it was very free. If there were things to do, I did a little more. If there were no things to do, I did a little less. Wei Wei and Gary gave me a lot of trust and freedom. I'm very grateful to them.
Besides, Wei Wei's mother cooks delicious food. I was so lucky that her mother came here.
All in all, I had a great time here. Highly recommended!Left by host for Workawayer (Seven)

Gary and Wei Wei were always happy to share their knowledge, whether it was about Asian cooking or creative business ideas or about cameras, and we feel so lucky and grateful for all we learned from them. The experience was truly enriching.
We were happy to help out with cooking, grocery shopping, some gardening, dog walking, spending time with little Nana and light household chores, especially as they are expecting their second child soon. Nana is a lovely, smart, and energetic little girl, and we had such a great time with her! Blue Moon, though big, was very gentle and quickly became a comforting presence in the home.
Their house is located in a beautiful area, close to the Dandenong Ranges National Park, which is easy to assess by car, making it perfect for anyone who loves being surrounded by nature. We are incredibly thankful for their kindness and hospitality, that we ended up extending our stay for six weeks with them and we highly recommend this experience to fellow travelers who appreciate natural beauty and warm, welcoming hosts. Thank you again, Gary and Wei Wei, for an unforgettable stay. We’ll miss you all and send our best wishes and congratulations on the upcoming addition to your family!Feedback
