    I CAN ACCEPT VOLUNTEERS IN AUGUST
    ==============

    My name is Noemí and I am a librarian at a public school. I am 60 years old and live in a city called Quilmes, in the province of Buenos Aires. My English is quite poor, so if you don't speak Spanish, you'll need to be patient with me or be willing to use the Translator.

    I live alone in a fairly large house, and I have enough space to host travelers in a private little house in the backyard of my house. One of my daughters traveled a lot around the world and suggested bringing cultural exchange volunteers who could help me with household chores. I also traveled quite a bit on vacation to different countries. In the past, I hosted travelers through Couchsurfing and stayed with some families when I traveled to Colombia on my own. I really like to discuss current affairs, read, watch movies, go to the cinema, and dance to Latin music, among other things.

    I live 20 kilometers from Buenos Aires. There are many buses near my house, and the train station is also close. You can get to downtown Buenos Aires in about 45 minutes. Quilmes has plenty of bars, breweries, and restaurants. Some parts of the city can be dangerous, but the area around my house is pretty safe, well-lit, and residential.

    Welcome to Quilmes! I look forward to meeting you all.

    Help

    I need help fixing some things around the house, so construction skills are very welcome. Eventually, it would be great if you could help me practice English, and I can also teach you some Spanish. My plan is for you to stay for maximum 9 days, working in the mornings from 9-12 during the week, with 2 days off, and of course, the whole afternoon free for you to do whatever you want.

    Accommodation

    I have a "kincho" at the back of my house, which is now set up as a separate house or cabin. It has two beds, an equipped kitchen, a refrigerator, and I have WiFi (although isn't the best). There's a private bathroom, and I provide sheets, towels, and blankets. Additionally, there’s a garden where my two dogs and a turtle live. Couples are very welcome, as are groups of two friends, but I prefer hosting girls.

    The work is light and easy, so you'll have plenty of free time. Unfortunately, due to economic reasons, I can't include meals, so you'll have to take care of that on your own, although I hope we can occasionally share a meal or an outing. I'd like to have a video call to get to know you before hosting you in my home.
