We stayed with Petra and PJ for two weeks and truly couldn’t have asked for better hosts for our first time workawaying! The whole family is absolutely lovely. They are very warm-hearted, kind & fun people and we always felt very comfortable and welcome in their home. For work we helped with weeding, cleaning, tidying up and playing with Salomon,

In general, they were really generous, which we are so thankful for! We felt like we could always talk about everything and communicate openly. We really loved our time with you guys and wish you all the best! :)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I was fortunate to stay with this family for two weeks. During this time I got the opportunity to try out different tasks. I ended up spending a lot of time playing with the young child which was great because he is a fantastic kid. I was also able to do some gardening work and help with general household tasks. One thing that was truly amazing
… read more about this host was the communication. There was a lot of openness regarding current energy levels and I could freely express my preferences or limitations. Apart from work, I had a lot of really nice conversations and spent time on walks or in the cafe. It was always clear that I would be supported regarding any activity I planned which I was really grateful for. The house gets really quiet in the evening which was great for relaxation. I felt like I could contribute to the family in a meaningful way and it was clear that my work was appreciated. I can definitely recommend this host!

I’m so thankful to Petra for letting me stay with her for four days; I had such a great time. The whole family is really relaxed and spontaneous, so if there’s a problem, you can surely find a solution together. The nearby lake is incredibly large and beautiful, and while it's possible to swim there, it was too cold for me personally🙈.
Most of my
… read more time was spent playing with Salomon. He is such a nice boy, and it was fun to build Lego and sandcastles together.
Lastly, thank you so much to PJ for not only driving me all the way to Limerick but also for all the interesting stories along the way. He even took a slightly longer route to show me some really nice places like Killaloe, which I would have missed otherwise.
I had a great time with you all and best wishes from Germany! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I spent two lovely weeks with this family. Thankfully Petra is really unsophisticated and invited me last minute. Petra and her family are living in a small cute village with a beautiful landscape. I had a nice quiet room for myself. My tasks were to go out with the dog, helping with the household, looking after the baby and do some light
… read more gardening.
Petra is a really good baker and I enjoyed to bake brownies with her ;) Nonetheless I don't want to miss my experiences with this lovely and warm-hearted family. I hope I can visit you again when I'm in Ireland 🇮🇪. P. S. Thank your very much P. P. S. I'm missing Popstar 😂Enjoy the countryside with our family in Wexford, Ireland
Hang out with me, my little boy and our dog in a wonderful community in East Cork, Ireland
