You can enjoy the village of Annascaul in the heart of the Dingle Peninsula, situated close to the Slieve Mish mountains, Annascaul Lake (it's possible to swim there), and the long sandy beach at Inch and it is a very popular area for walkers, fishers and surfers.
It is also home to a number of pubs where you can meet local Irish people who are very friendly and helpful, and enjoy a warm fire, Irish music and cold Guinness!
We are situated in a Gaeltacht (Irish speaking) region, but everyone speaks English.
Here you have a great opportunity to meet new friends and people from all around the world :) learn about different cultures, plan future travels around the world and have fun!!
If you prefer relaxing in nature, you can rent a bike, or walk around this beautiful place and discover the entire landscape (the village of Annascaul lies among mountains, lakes and streams and is surrounded by history and beauty).
We are an ancient people with an ancient culture in an ancient land, and you are welcome to share it with us!

Annascaul is a small village on the Dingle Peninsula. It's a 45 minute walk from Inch beach and 20 minute car drive from Dingle. You can walk to Annascaul Lake and Minard Castle. We also have our own bar :)
The village also celebrates two famous sons: 3-times Antarctic explorer Tom Crean and Irish-American sculptor, Jerome Connor.

We are near the world famous ring of Kerry and Slea Head, with fabulous scenery, walks, and our local beaches are among the best in Ireland. Local towns include foodie town Dingle, Tralee where the world famous "rose of Tralee" is held, and Killarney is not too far away.
Annascaul is a walker’s paradise. hills and valleys, sea, river, and lake make an ever-changing pattern, with the wild flowers of Kerry blooming everywhere.
