  Let me introduce myself. I'm Berenice, and I live in Arroyo Leyes, a small, quite, and semi-rural town located 18 km from the city of Santa Fe. I share my home with FOUR adorable DOGS who are part of my family and have total freedom to come and go from the house and even hop on the beds, although they have their owns. If you love dogs and don't have allergies, you'll be welcomed! Otherwise, this may not be the right place for you. I work in the city of Santa Fe, where I travel by car almost daily. I consider myself a calm and respectful person, both of my own space and that of others. I value my moments of tranquility and privacy, especially in the mornings. I hope for the opportunity to learn from you as a traveler, to hear about your trips, stories, and to share good times in a peaceful and friendly environment.

  Soy Berenice, vivo en Arroyo Leyes, pequeña localidad ubicada a 18 km de la ciudad de Santa Fe. Comparto mi hogar con cuatro adorables PERROS quienes son parte de mi familia y tienen total libertad para entrar y salir de la casa y subir a las camas, aunque tienen las propias. ¡Si amas los perros y no tienes alergias, serás bienvenido! Caso contrario, este no es el lugar indicado para ti. Trabajo en la ciudad de Santa Fe, a donde viajo en automóvil casi a diario. Me considero una persona tranquila y respetuosa, tanto con mi propio espacio como con el de los demás. Valoro mis momentos de tranquilidad y privacidad, especialmente por las mañanas.   As a host, I offer travelers the opportunity to stay in a peaceful and natural environment in Arroyo Leyes, where you can immerse yourself in the lifestyle in a semi-rural village, deeply connected with nature. Additionally, weather permitting, you can enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing and hiking, eat at local fish restaurants (typical in the area), as well as explore local services and events and the various entertainment options in the nearby city of Santa Fe. We can share Argentine dishes, expand our linguistic horizons by learning words and phrases in our native language, and even attend typical regional activities in specific dates of the year or visit particular places in the area.

  Como anfitrión, ofrezco a los viajeros la oportunidad de hospedarse en un entorno tranquilo y natural en Arroyo Leyes, donde podrán experimentar en primera persona la vida en un pueblo semi-rural, en conexión con la naturaleza. Además, si el clima acompaña, los huéspedes podrán disfrutar de actividades al aire libre, como pesca y caminatas, comer en comedores de pescado (típicos en la zona), así como explorar los servicios y eventos locales y las diversas opciones de entretenimiento en la cercana ciudad de Santa Fe. Podremos compartir platos argentinos, aprender palabras y frases en nuestros idiomas nativos, e incluso asistir a actividades regionales típicas en fechas específicas del año o lugares particulares en el área.

  Help

  The help I may need will depend on when you come. It could include some of the following tasks: taking care of and feeding my dogs, watering the plants, light housekeeping, small repairs or organizing, and perhaps some gardening. If you have skills in home maintenance, carpentry, painting, or any artistic talent, they would be welcome! Additionally, I'm interested in practicing English and Portuguese, although we can also communicate in Spanish if you want!

  Accommodation

  My home is a cozy and warm house, and I share it with four adorable DOGS: Luigi, Pedro, Chimi-churri, and Coca, who are part of my family and have total freedom to come and go from the house. If you love dogs and don't have allergies, you'll be welcome! Otherwise, this isn't the right place for you.
  The house is spacious enough to accommodate ONE PERSON AT A TIME. It has a private room for me and a single bed in the living room for you. We'll share the bathroom, kitchen-dining area, and living room when you're not resting. You'll have hot water, Wi-Fi, Netflix, a kitchen, microwave, and cabinets stocked with rice, noodles, salt, oil, sugar, tea, and of course, Argentine mate, for you to use whenever you want. There's a desk if you want to use your laptop. Outside, you'll find a gallery and a Paraguayan hammock. The garden offers a very pleasant space to sunbathe in winter or just relax.
  Please, keep in mind that it's important to maintain a clean and tidy environment in the house throughout your stay. Above all, you should know that smoking is strictly PROHIBITED in my house. If you're a smoker, I'm sorry, but this isn't the place for you!
  I can give you a meal a day . Additionally, there is always yogurth, corns and fruits that you can consume for your breakfast.
  Furthermore, near my house, you'll find a variety of services, including stores where you can buy groceries and other items, butchers, greengrocers, bakeries, ice cream shops, pharmacies, etc. There are also some bars nearby, mainly in summertime.

  Mi hogar es una casa acogedora y cálida, y la comparto con cuatro adorables PERROS: Luigi, Pedro, Chimi-churri y Coca, quienes son parte de mi familia y tienen total libertad para entrar y salir de la casa. Si amas los perros y no tienes alergias, serás bienvenido! Caso contrario, este no es el lugar indicado para ti.
  La CASA es lo suficientemente espaciosa para recibir UNA PERSONA por vez. Cuenta con una habitación privada para mí y una cama de una plaza en el living para ti. En esa cama suelen descansar los perros, pero cuando vengas la encontrarás limpia para tí. Compartiremos el baño, la cocina-comedor y el living cuando no estés descansando. Tendrás agua caliente, Wi-Fi, Netflix, cocina, microondas, lavadora de ropa y alacenas con arroz, fideos, sal, aceite, azúcar, té, y claro, mate argentino, para que uses cuando desees. Hay un escritorio si deseas usar tu laptop. En el exterior encontrarás una galería y una hamaca paraguaya. El jardín ofrece un espacio muy agradable para tomar el sol en invierno o simplemente para relajarse.
  Por favor, ten en cuenta que es importante mantener un ambiente limpio y ordenado en la casa durante toda tu estadía. Sobre todo, debes saber que en mi casa está estrictamente PROHIBIDO fumar. Si eres fumador, lo siento, pero este no es lugar para ti!
  Te daré una comida al día, y además para el desayuno siempre hay yogurth, cereales, y frutas que podrás usar.
  En las cercanías de mi casa, encontrarás una variedad de servicios, incluyendo almacenes donde podrás comprar comestibles y otros artículos, carnicerías, verdulerías, panaderías, heladerías, farmacias, etc. También hay algunos comedores y bares en los alrededores.

  In your free time, if you prefer to stay in Arroyo Leyes, you can enjoy outdoor walks, eat at “Don Carmelo”, a typical fish restaurant by the Ubajay stream, or simply relax at my home with the company of my dogs. You can also explore nearby towns like San José del Rincón or Colastiné, which are quite similar to Arroyo Leyes. If you prefer an urban and dynamic environment, you'll love Santa Fe! There, you'll find a wide range of attractions to explore, from the vibrant waterfront along the "Laguna Setúbal" (Setubal lake) with its iconic "Puente Colgante" (Hanging bridge), beautiful boulevards, squares, and parks, to museums, culinary options, bars, and lively nightlife, especially during the warmer months.

  En tu tiempo libre, si prefieres quedarte en Arroyo Leyes puedes disfrutar de caminatas al aire libre, ir a comer a Don Carmelo, típico comedor de pescado del lugar, y el arroyo UBAJAY sobre el que se encuentra, o simplemente disfrutar del día en mi casa con la compañía de mis perros. También puedes visitar localidades cercanas como San José del Rincón o Colastiné, los cuales son similares a Arroyo Leyes. Si prefieres un lugar urbanizado y dinámico, ¡Santa Fe te va a encantar! Allí encontrarás una amplia variedad de opciones para visitar, desde la hermosa costanera llena de vida a la vera de la Laguna Setúbal desde la que podrás contemplar el icónico Puente colgante; hermosos bulevares, plazas y parques, hasta museos, opciones gastronómicas, bares y bastante vida nocturna, especialmente en meses cálidos.
