    Karibu/Welcome.

    Together, we are transforming the lives of vulnerable adolescent girls, young women, and children facing exploitation, abuse, and poverty in Tanzania, near the beautiful shores of Lake Victoria. These girls, young women, and youth face challenges such as child labour, domestic violence, trafficking, and various forms of abuse, and we are committed to providing them with protection, opportunity, and hope for a better future through;

    These programs are designed to enhance their living conditions and open new doors for their future.

    Important Note
    Please be aware that the office is separate from the accommodation. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation, which costs approximately $1 per day for a motorcycle taxi. For the field, we usually arrange through hired or use public transport when available.

    There is no limitation if you want to stay more than 3 months or even a year for sustainability in the organization or project. we believe that impact is people, and people are the organization or projects.

    Accommodation
    Volunteers, interns, and families can stay with a welcoming host family. We offer two rooms: one shared (same gender) and one private, with a shared restroom.

    Food
    We provide three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at the home or office, with vegetarian options available. Our meals use fresh, locally sourced produce and cater to dietary restrictions when informed in advance. While Bukoba specializes in local cuisine, volunteers can visit the local market to buy ingredients and cook their favorite dishes.

    We ask volunteers to contribute a small amount of $5 per day, which goes directly to the host family for meals during your stay. This amount supports food costs and is not a donation to the project or charity. Enjoy your culinary journey with us!.

    To the non helping days intern ,volunteers and families can plan activities at the beach and explore Bukoba. Getting ride on the Bukoba and other part of Kagera region. Also visit water falls,cultural attractions.

    Can surpring children and office with the gifts that easily to carry or transported such as:

    -Closes,toy board games and sports gear
    -First aid kits, music intruments
    -Art supplies water paints,papers
    -Technological learning equipments

    Anything that can use to into the office nad field site like laptop, phone, camera,projector, and other equipments; nothing is less ,its valuuble to adolescent girls and children.

    To reach to our project Bukoba ,from Dar es Salaam (Nyerere Airport) or Kilimanjaro international airport .we recomment flying as bus travel can take over a day. then land to the domestic airport is Bukoba airport .To reach to the house or host takes 20 minutes from town by motortaxi or car taxi.

    Visa Details ; we prefer apply online you can get exctly what you want kind of visa you want and allows to work in charty an humantarian activities like us. For europen citizen cast $50 A6 visa give you a chance to work in organization, $ 100 for U.S citizens ,Please apply online as well as you can get more detail over there.

    What to pack

    Take a light clothing for warm weather ,pack jacket for cooler night and a raincoat for rainy season.Flip flops and confortable shoes or hikinf boots are recommended foe exploring the beautiful sorrounfings.

    Bring important medication , suncreen, ,mosquito repellent some travelers opt malaria prophylaxis, so please consider this before your trip as well as can consult your doctor for more.
