Description
We, Daniela and Josch live as a couple about 15 years in Sweden. Living here in the woods is for us an alternative for the former living in the city in Germany. Nature and absolut silence, self realization in construction work, garden and the woods. We need help by renovation, in the garden and the woodland. We grow own vegetable, forestwork and making firewood, ... but organize also youthcamps in the summar and like to travel
At the moment we are in the process of building Tiny houses and preparing nice places for them on our property.
Now 2 months later:
Our two tiny houses are almost finished, now it's time to paint the vintage windows and prepare the surroundings.

Wir, Daniela und Josch wohnen seit 15 Jahren in Schweden. Unser Leben hier im Wald bietet uns die Alternative zum früherern Leben in der Stadt in Deutschland. Natur und absolute Ruhe, Selbstverwirklichung in baulichen Projekten Garten und im Wald. Wir bräuchten Mithilfe bei Renovierungsarbeiten rund ums Haus und im Wald. Wir bauen selber Gemüse an, Arbeiten im Wald und machen Brennholz, .... aber organisieren im Sommer seit vielen Jahren Jugendfreizeiten und Reisen auch gerne.
Zur Zeit sind wir dabei Tiny houses zu bauen und schöne Plätze dafür auf unserem Grundstück vorzubereiten.
Nun 2 Monate später:
Unsere zwei Tinyhäuser sind jetzt fast fertiggestellt, jetzt gehts an Streicharbeiten der vintage Fenster und an das Vorbereiten des Geländes

You have your own cabin, shower and toilet in the sanitary building next door, a lake with a wood-burning sauna and canoes, cooking and eating together.

Du bewohnst eine eigene Hütte , Dusche und Toilette im Sanitärhaus nebenan, Haussee mit Holzofensauna und Kanadiern, gemeinsames Kochen und Essen.
What else ...
Our farm is lonely in the woods. You get nature pur, lots of possibilities to hike, fishing, collecting mushrooms and berries, making sauna, swimming and canouing. If you still feel for civilisation you have the next town in 20 km distance, Göteborg 70km. In the morning there is a bus or eventually driving with us.

Unser Hof liegt abseits im Wald. Ihr bekommt Natur pur, könnt wandern, Angeln, Pilze und Beeren sammmeln, saunieren, baden und paddeln. Wer trotzdem die Zivilisation braucht, findet die nächste Stadt in 20km, Göteborg ist 70km entfernt. Morgens fährt ein Bus oder eventl. besteht eine MfG bei uns.

This was one of the best experiences in my life, the almost 2 months i spent here i have never felt more comfortable, relaxed and just at ease with myself and a big part of this is due to how Josch and Daniela make you feel and how welcoming they both are, unfortunately i did not get to spend much time with Daniela but in the little time we did… read more have together she was full of stories of her life and travels and just a great person!

The time i spent with Josch and Yev ( a fellow workawayer and now friend ) will be something i hold onto for the rest of my life, some absolutely great memories were made and many laughs were had.
Josch himself is incredibly open minded,respectful,friendly and relaxed and is a joy to be around, full of stories,a passion for music and great cooking skills.. those potato pancakes and soup, one of the many things im returning for one day !!

This is a brilliant place to do some serious soul searching and self discovery, be prepared to spend many hours in your own thoughts, surrounded by silence in the form of forest and a beautiful lake, the lake alone is a magical place surprising you daily with a new wonder.

Some of the work is quite physical when going into the forest, but incredible at the same time and plenty of learning about trees. There is a huge variety of work and you are very rarely bored with what you do, putting up wooden beams on the cabins, painting, cutting and loading firewood for delivery, we were in the process of finishing a room that Josch had built attatched to the main house,laying flooring and wall panels, there is also gardening to be done! and plenty more tasks.

Free time is filled with exploring the area, hiking around, fishing, making use of the sauna and lake, having conversations about just about everything and listening to plenty of great music. and if you have a sweet tooth craving like yev and myself most certainly did... a 4-5km walk to the closest little store in a small town for some candies :) and again, plenty of time in your own thoughts.
I personally took a few days to go on multi-day hiking trips around the area on some trails which was quite a unique experience as i have not done many solo hikes before, but i certainly learnt alot both about the area and myself and had some unforgettable moments.

Saying Goodbye to Josch, Yev and this entire place was a huge pain and sitting in the bus driving further away i couldn't help but feel part of me just want to get off and start walking back, although i did leave, i definitely left some part of me back there but they say when its difficult to leave that you know you spent your time well.

now i can dream of returning during a more sunny period!
