Description
We operate a therapeutic horseback riding program for people with a disability May - August. In April and May we are looking for Helpers to work with and prepare our therapy horses for lessons that start at the end of May. Other jobs included facility maintenance and small projects. We run lessons 3-4 days / week. It's a fun and rewarding environment if you enjoy people and horses! Horse experience and experience in working with people are an asset.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Yukon is a vast and beautiful land. Canada's north provides opportunity to see wildlife without driving long distances. Many people from around the world come to the north to see the aurora. We have access to trails and hiking outside our back door. English and french are spoken.
Help
Travellers would help with lessons and lesson preparation. Projects could include fixing fences, painting, moving hay bales, watering plants and garden, grooming and exercising horses, cleaning tack and looking after a small vegetable garden.
