Hello =)
I’m Teressa – I’m an American in graduate school in Germany studying animal behavior and cognition. I love science, but I’m also very artistic - I enjoy painting, dancing, playing ukulele, and any creative task. With my free time, I also love spending time outdoors - hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, fishing, and more. And of course, I love to travel and immerse myself in different cultures and lifestyles. WorkAways have provided me with a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet great people, and travel to new areas.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have experience working with a variety of animals. In my past WorkAways, I worked with ducks, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, turkeys, and a donkey. I also used to volunteer to help train service dogs and to rehabilitate wildlife.
I have experience with a variety of home and land maintenance tasks. I also enjoy cleaning up around the house and assisting with meal preparation.
I have experience taking care of house plants and some outdoor gardening.
I speak English and could help with grammar, but I am not fluent in any other language. I have also worked as a science and math tutor before.
For many years, I worked as a babysitter. The kids I watched always loved having me around, and I loved being around them too.
I am artistic, which allows me to be very creative. I have helped with house decorating and painting.
I enjoy being outside and physically active, as well as doing DIY tasks.
I am a quick learner and always approach a challenge with a positive attitude.
