Hi everyone!
I'm Martyna, and my love for adventure has brought me to Workaway:)
Even tho I haven't used Workaway before, I have been volunteering since I was 16. I've been to three workcamps before, worked on various projects, and had an amazing time!
I have moved abroad when I was 17, and have been living away from home for 5 years now. It's been the biggest adventure of my life! I am a medical student studying in the UK so learning new things quickly and efficiently is a valuable skill to help me stay afloat during my studies:) I am always very eager and enthusiastic to expand my knowledge at every opportunity!
My biggest passion was horse riding which unfortunately I've stopped after moving abroad. I have been practicing yoga for years now and recently I started to explore the topic of meditation.
Currently, I am looking for an experience where I get to share stories with other people, spend quality time in nature and through work, learn new skills that otherwise I wouldn't be able to in my day-to-day life.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

On my first work camp in Germany, I helped to organise a summer camp for children, prepared animations for them as well as did some renovation work, such as painting.
Second work camp in Italy, I prepared decorations for a local festival, gave out flyers and cooked meals for the volunteers.
During my last work camp in France, I volunteered at a short film festival where I prepared food for the guests and also was involved with the logistic team which task would be setting up the festival site.

I have always had animals around and have practiced horse riding therefore I am happy to take care of pets as well as horses.
Being a yoga enthusiast for a few years now, I could teach a beginners yoga class.

Living away from home has helped me develop my independence. I find it easy to organise my time when I am alone, I am happy to go on solo adventures in my free time.
