Description
We are a hostel in the centre of the beautiful city of Prizren, Kosovo. We have been opened since 2019 and we have had many guests throughout the years. The idea of our hostel is to invite people from all around the world to exchange and experience each other's cultures and learn new things about Kosovo as it is a hidden gem in Europe.
It is a relaxing and calming environment. There is a kitchen where you can cook and eat together. We have 7 rooms. Some are shared rooms with public bathrooms and some are private rooms with private bathrooms. We have a nice reading area. The hostel is wheelchair friendly.
We have three local employees that work in our hostel. Their roles are manager and two receptionists
We welcome everybody to come and enjoy our place, especially chefs! The staff is nice, friendly and helpful. We will help with recommendations about food and places to visit in the beautiful city of Prizren.

The travelers will learn about Kosovo and its culture. It is a place where not a lot of people come often but when they do, they are always surprised with the food and culture that it has to offer.
Aide
We are looking for friendly people that can help us with basic hostel needs.
It's usual hostel stuff like basic covering the reception, with check-ins and check-outs, housekeeping. You will be working from 8 am - 2 pm.
Maximum 5 hours, 5 days a week
We also have a Whatsapp group where you can contact the managers any time of the day for any questions and concerns relating to guests that you might have.
The help will be long-term, approximately 3 to 6 months.

Hébergement
The travelers will be staying in a shared room or private room, depends on the situation. They will be able to cook their own food and work in the lobby/kitchen area. The drinks, laundry and towels are free.
They will also be able to work on their laptops or read something if they would like.

Travelers will be able to go sightseeing, enjoy their nights in the cinema and meet new people in and out of the hostel. There is a bus station that will help travelers to go to different parts of Kosovo.

I spent over 6 weeks at the hostel and it was a wonderful. I was there with another volunteer who became my best friend for that period and we worked in shifts. It was mostly evening shifts, 14 till 21 with an average of 30 h per week aprox and 2 days to choose during the weekdays.

They were amazing volunteers. They were very helpful and responsible. Their tasks included housekeeping and doing check-outs in the morning. They were communicative with the staff. It was great having Rowan stay with us for a month. He was very helpful, punctual, and friendly. If you want to have somebody work with you in a hostel, he picks up new things quickly and he has experience with working in a hostel.
