Making music, exploring new places, spending time in nature, and learning (just about anything). Also down to just hang out and have conversations.

Description

I've lived my entire life thus far in the USA, spending my time outside of college and work (waiting tables) doing the things I love, which are namely: producing, listening to, or otherwise enjoying music, reading, learning new skills & refining old ones, and making friends from around the world (much easier before COVID).

I love to learn! Additionally, having conversations about (almost) anything, playing table top games, and spending time in nature (away from screens!) are all things I love to do. Last but not least, music is my lifeblood; playing, listening, making. Anything music makes me happy.

Volunteering is something I've been involved in since before high school, often cleaning the homes and yards of the elderly and infirm. In addition to this, I have much experience interacting with customers at the various restaurants I've worked at over the years. I also worked in construction for a summer (manual labor, 2018).

Kindness, respect, honesty, good work ethic, and (perhaps most of all) a good sense of humor are all things I value.

Ultimately, I hope to integrate as much as possible with whatever society I'm visiting; to learn the culture, make friends, learn as much as possible, and make real connections with people. Those are my goals for Workaway, I hope you'll be a part of them.

I'm currently studying Japanese and would love to refine my skills on Workaway. Of course, any country I travel to, I want to learn the native language (right now that means Hebrew, Albanian, and Italian.) I'd also be happy to help anybody refine their English.

- Tidying/cleaning up & manual labor. I pay attention to detail!
- Music & audio production/recording

- Serving food/waiting tables (I've worked as a waiter.)

- Martial arts (Black belt in Tae Kwon Do)

Autres infos...

I spent a month working on a sheep farm in NSW, Australia in the summer of 2019. The majority of the work was manual labor but I also did a bit of cleaning/tidying. Most of the manual labor consisted of odd jobs but they were very physically demanding; I don't back down from hard work! I want to see a job done well.
Getting to know the locals, experiencing a brand new culture, working hard and laughing lots made working in Australia one of my most favorite memories.
