Description

We are two friends from Norway backpacking around the world together. We first met during our military service, where we worked as firefighters. After having a great time in the armed forces, we realized how quickly everyday life can return to normal—but that wasn’t what we wanted. So, we decided to travel the world to explore different places, experience various cultures, and meet new people. After three months on the road, we discovered Workaway and saw it as a unique opportunity to dive even deeper into cultures while building connections and making friends worldwide.

We are two very active and hardworking guys who are investing in ourselves. Jone has pursued team gymnastics at a world-class level and worked at an airport on the side. Even juggles many different projects, but to keep it short, his days are mostly spent growing social media, building businesses, and fitting in plenty of training.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

To explain our different skills, we can start with our individual paths.

Even began by training as an electrician and started flipping houses privately. Then came military service, where he served as a firefighter. After that, he worked with social media while continuing as an electrician on the side, before being recruited by a team to help start a Norwegian company in the Netherlands. Once the project was completed, he went all-in on social media and is now fully focused on that. To summarize his skills, he has a bit of knowledge about everything. He’s practical, good with animals and humans, and not afraid to roll up his sleeves.

Jone went straight from high school into the armed forces, where he worked as a firefighter while taking on small side jobs to gain experience. After his time in the military, he worked as a ground handler at an airport while also being on the national team for team gymnastics. Alongside these two commitments, he developed a strong interest in stocks, teaching himself everything he knows. While he doesn’t have much practical experience, he grew up with a father who is very handy, which exposed him to many projects during his upbringing. Jone loves meeting new people, is great with animals, and is also not afraid to get his hands dirty.
