Les activités qui m'intéressent :

I have an avid interest in the outdoor life and would class myself as an outdoorsman. I am currently studying for an MSc in Energy Engineering work on a small dairy farm in my free time.

Description

Hello,
I am a positive person who is passionate about outdoor life and outdoor work.
I love the natural world and have been exposed to an array of environments from working on farms (mostly dairy) in Iceland and Norway to being part of environmental projects and to assisting in botanical gardens.
There is nothing more satisfying than working in the environment and with the environment. I am currently studying an MSc in Energy Engineering and like to work hard outdoors to relax.

I am also interested in exchanging cultural views and learning new languages. Currently I am a B1 German speaker and I am also learning Japanese (very early stage!).

For my next travels I am keen to return to Norway and work either farming or as a permaculture project.

I am always eager to learn and always look forward to meeting new people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a confident and positive individual looking to use my existing skills and develop new skills as I believe life is about development.
I have a diverse experience having worked with animals having for much a large part of my life and spending nine years working with horses.
I am experienced in extreme cold environments also.
I can do many manual tasks including animal care, farm labouring and maintenance.
In addition prior to finishing my studies I taught English to foreign students and take a patient and empathetic approach to teaching others.
I am very much a people person but can work alone with comfort and positivity.

I enjoy all outdoor pursuits including hiking, fishing, running and coppicing. Working in agriculture and cultivating food produce is something I very much enjoy. I have previously completed ultra marathons.
In addition I was previously a tutor supporting people with their studies and always show a patient personality.
I also enjoy cooking and can prepare various cuisines.
