Hey I’m from Scotland and am now back in Malawi. I am interested in working with education and female empowerment NGOs. Also very keen to explore more of the country.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I was volunteering in Divine Destiny Academy in Manja, Malawi with Project Trust (Scottish charity) for a year 2023-2024. I successfully raised £7000 for Project Trust through setting up different fundraising events, contacting charitable trusts and fundraising through social media in order to fund my placement.
At the school I taught science, English and expressive arts. I also wrote and marked exam papers. I loved working with the children there. Working at the primary school really helped me develop my confidence as well as my problem solving and resilience skills. During my time there I also helped teach the Sunday school at Blantyre Bethesda Pool Church.
Back in Scotland, I have experience working in hospitality. I am currently in a crew training position at a very busy fast food restaurant. I feel my work here has given me excellent customer service and communication skills. I feel I am a very driven and enthusiastic person and will give my all to any task I am set.
I know a few Chichewa words and phrases but I am very keen to learn more when I return to Malawi!
