  Description

  Hi my name is Giuseppe, i live in Sicily, in Motta d'Affermo. Three years ago I bought an house with an hectare of land and I'm taking care of this beautiful place by creating a food forest and a BnB. In future I would like to create a sort of village with 2/3 tiny houses and I'm in the process to buy another piece of land which will host a donkey. My aim is also to spread the emotions of a life in a community,understanding and improving every day the relationship with other people, sharing experience, knowledge and good time together.
  I live with four dogs: Lula, Valerio,Biancotta, Rosita.
  And two cats: Xiko and Zanna.
  I have a vegetable garden, but there's still a lot to improve :) wild pigs have been a real trial.
  The house is big enough to host up to 2 volunteers at time.
  During summertime I work with the Bed and Breakfast, so I'm not hosting volunteers anymore but you can decide to sleep in tent if you want. The land is near to the sea( 5 minutes by car, but very steep road and not easy to go by foot) . I use to go there at the sunset, to relax after day.

  Travellers can enjoy the life in a magical place between the sea and the mountains, discovering the magic of community living, taking care of other people, giving and receiving love. Workawayers can also find a true calm and meditative atmosphere since there are very few noise and distractions. Perfect for those who want to explore their inner dimension.
  The main learning i can offer is about natural farming and agroforestry management.
  I graduated in organic agriculture and really interested in natural farming and permaculture, making new experiments every day.
  Workawayers become a part of the family: cooking, cleaning up,organizing events, and in general helping with the maintenance of the house.

  Aide

  The help requested is seasonal, according to the different time of the year.
  May include harvesting, transforming fruit, cleaning the vegetables garden from weeds, mulching. Cutting and moving wood.
  My project for the next months are: building an outdoor kitchen and outdoor shower. Planting new trees in winter!
  I'm also in the way to complete the outside plaster of the house, made with lime, sand and straw.
  Next winter I would like to start the building of a tiny house with super Adobe method and a hot water tube.

  Hébergement

  The house has two floors: downstairs there is a room for volunteers with a private bathroom, and upstairs there is my room and a common space with living room and kitchen and bathroom , also there is a beautiful terrace with a view of the sea.
  
  The food offered is two meals per day: lunch and dinner, I normally skip breakfast. I love cooking and I eat quite simple and almost vegan.
  The hours of help per day can change due to the kind of tasks and the weather conditions but is no more than 5 hours per day. Normally in three/ four hours I complete the tasks for the day. But anyway remember to always do tasks without forcing yourself :)
  On Saturday I use to celebrate the end of the working week with a nice dinner or going out. And the day after on Sunday is dedicated for a complete rest and the working week starts again on Monday!
  Sometimes on Monday afternoon I teach parkour for a class in Santo Stefano, you could join if you are interested!

  Autres infos...

  In the time off there are few walks in the forest starting by foot from house. Or with only 10 minutes with car they can reach the sea and closer village like Santo Stefano di Camastra, Tusa..
  With a little bit time with the car is possible to reach nebrodi mountains.
