Hi everyone, after 15 years of working in a finance related job I decided that it’s time for a bit of excessive travelling through Europe with my tiny camper van. I love hiking and enjoy being outdoors - preferably when it’s sunny but not so hot :) (And sometimes I even like rain :)
I am incredible happy and also very grateful for this amazing sabbatical that has taken me so far to places like Scotland and Scandinavia and now France. Getting to know beautiful places that you otherwise only know from travel magazines is just great! But the most memorable things usually happen when I am meeting and getting to know people who are actually living in these places.
In the past "helpx.net" (another workaway portal) and now workaway are giving me this opportunity and I'm really looking forward to getting to know even more interesting people and lovely places with workaway :)

As I like to be outdoors, I enjoy working in the garden, but I am also happy to help around the house and enjoy looking after children. With helpx.net I had two babysitter jobs taking care of small children (14 months to 7 years).
Because some people have already approached me: I do like animals, but to be honest, I prefer them with a bit of distance :) though I am very comfortable with cats and very friendly and calm dogs ;)

All in all I would describe myself as very friendly, polite, cheerful and easy-going person :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have done something similar to workaway (but via helpx.net) during the last years in Canada, New Zealand and the UK. I have stayed with families and helped with child care, also have some experiences with working in a Bed and Breakfast and I stayed a month on a chicken and geese farm (including gardening).
Language wise I speak English and German fluently, unfortunately not much French and Spanish (very low level/ beginner skills).
