Hi! My name is Yasmim, I'm 21 years old, from Brazil, and currently escaping my normal life to become fluent in Spanish and accidentally reinvent myself somewhere between Argentina and Chile.

I love the kind of travel where you start knowing absolutely nobody and somehow end up cooking dinner with people from 5 different countries at midnight in a hostel kitchen.

Back in Brazil I work with events, so I'm pretty good at handling chaos, talking to people, adapting fast and figuring things out as I go, which honestly feels very useful for hostel life too.

I'm naturally very curious and social. I love cafés, music, photography, art, wine, random bus rides, walking around cities with no plan and conversations that start as small talk and suddently become existential at 2am.

This trip is less about "seeing places" and more about building a life in Spanish for a while. I really want to experience local routines, meet people, improve my communications skills and create stories that will probably sound fake later.

I'm looking for places with good energy, kind people and social atmosphere. I'm always happy to help, learn quickly and be part of the everyday life of the place. Also emotionally prepared for bunk beds, cheap wine and missing buses occasionally.

More details about my language interests
One of the main reasons for this trip is becoming fluent in Spanish through real life experiences, cultural exchange and everyday conversations. I already understant a lot because I'm brazilian, but I really want to push myself to speak naturally and confidently. I love languages and the way they connect people, cultures and stories. I'm very excited to improve my Spanish while living with locals, other thavelers and hosts during my journey. I can also help with Portuguese and English conversations if anyone is interested :)

I've experience working with projects, events and sales in Brazil, so I'm very comfortable in dynamic environments, talking to different people every day and adapting quickly when things get busy or unpredictable.

I'm naturally very communicative, creative and artistic, and I really enjoy environments where people share ideas, cultures and experiences. I love photography, visual aesthetics, music, design and creative projects, so I'd also be happy to help with social media, content creation, photos or promoting activities if needed.

Because of my experience with sales and customer service, I'm confident interacting with guests, helping people feel welcome and creating a friendly atmosphere. I genuinely enjoy working with people and communicating in different environments.

I'm also a very hands-on person and I genuinely enjoy helping with everyday tasks. I can help with housekeeping, cleaning, organizing spaces, gardening, reception and general hostel/house routines. I love animals and have experience taking care of pets as well.

I've taken a cocktail course before, so I can also help around the bar, prepare drinks and work in social environments. Besides that, I already have experience taking care of children, which taught me a lot about patience, responsability and communication.

I learn fast, adapt easily and I'm always happy to help wherever needed. More than just travelling, I'm looking for meaningful cultural exchange, improving my Spanish and becoming part of the daily life of the places where I stay :)

What else ...

Outside of work and traveling, I'm a very creative person. I love ceramics and anything handmade, honestly one of the best feelings for me is creating, fixing or building something with my own hands and make spaces feel warm and personal.

I also love plants and taking care of them (even though travelling with plants is unfortunately not very practical). Back home I'm always the person trying to turn every corner into a tiny jungle.

Animals have always been a big part of my life too, I've had dogs, cats, so I'm very comfortable around them and genuinely enjoy taking care of.

I think I'm happiest in environments that feel alive and human, people cooking together, music playing in the background, conversations in the kitchen, creative projects, plants around the house and a little bit of chaos in a good way.

I really value cultural exchange, good energy and meaningful connections, and I hope this trip brings a lot of all three!
