Hello, :)
I'm Malte! I am studying music near Hanover in Germany!
I like to spend my Semesterholidays traveling around europe and help people with what I can do.
I experienced workaway as a wonderful chance to give and take. Last year I went to Castello di Potentino in Provence where I helped painting the windows and do renovations around the castle for two weeks.
Afterwards I went to Roma and helped a couple building a shelter for their garden to store wood in winter.
Both trips where so pleasing for me and I like to think back to them.

I love to make music, singing as well as playing the piano or currently learning the guitar. I write my own music and hope to make a living out of it some time.
Besides, I like to do sports,
if its playing tennis or football or just go for a run, I'm in. :)
I spent some time working in a kitchen in an italian restaurant, so I can cook some nice dishes and am used to clean the kitchen afterwards.

I sing in a choir with young children, where, when we are on tour for concerts, the adult singers need to take care of the boys, bring them to bed, make sure they brush their teeth, care for them if they're feeling unwell and so on. I'd say I gained some experience there and some more since I have a, now three year old, nephew, who is the sweetest kid in the world on whom I take care of lots of times.

I made a one year apprenticeship for carpenter in Hanover, where I gained many manual skills, as to build some easier furniture like a trunk or cupboard, which helped me really to build and repair stuff at home.

I worked in a Italian restaurant for some time, where I learned to make Pizza and Pasta and. Dishes I like to do at home now! :)
