Description
I am someone who finds my best self when I am out in nature and stepping away from the familiar. My main reason for traveling is to gain new experiences that push my boundaries and teach me things I couldn’t learn in a classroom or a city.
I am genuinely motivated by the idea of 'learning by doing.' I love the feeling of finishing a day of physical work knowing I’ve contributed to something meaningful whether that’s caring for animals, helping with a project, or simply maintaining a beautiful outdoor space. I have a huge amount of respect for people who live close to the land and the animals they care for, and I am eager to learn from them.
For me, the best part of traveling is the conversations with different people. I am an open-minded listener and I really value the chance to hear new perspectives and share stories over a meal at the end of the day. I’m looking for a host who values a positive attitude, a pair of reliable hands, and a good chat! -

More details about your skills
Here is all of that experience condensed into a powerful, professional paragraph for your profile:
I am currently studying Biological Sciences, specializing in Animals and Ecology, which provides me with a deep academic understanding of animal behaviour and conservation. I have paired this knowledge with diverse practical experience, including sea turtle conservation in Okinawa, Japan and local volunteering focused on habitat restoration, invasive species management and coppicing.
These roles have made me highly proficient in following strict safety protocols, performing demanding physical labour in all weather conditions, and maintaining a keen eye for detail in animal husbandry. Whether I am mucking out enclosures, preparing precise diets, or discussing ecological theory, I bring a disciplined work ethic and a genuine passion for animal welfare to every project I join. -
