Heyhey! I'm Vici from Austria, currently working as a graphic designer and always searching for creative activities. I live in Vienna where I love going to the cinema, buy new books every other week and meet my lovely friends. As I grew up on the countryside, I am going there as often as I can to visit my family & dog. Nature is very important to me, so put me next to a tree and I'm happy :-)

I grew up on the countryside where my parents have a house & garden.
We also have chicken & a dog, so I am used to having animals & feeding them.
I studied philosophy & graphic design and worked in several jobs while doing so.
I worked on a tea plantation, in a kindergarden, did a lot of babysitting, worked at a supermarket, as a museum supervision and currently I am self employed.

I was planning to only stay three weeks at Werner's place but ended up staying almost three months because I found a little home on this farm. The place is wonderful, full of Werner's wood sculptures and both on winter days as on warm spring days nice to enjoy. Werner is a hard working guy which means that you have to work independently which (for me) is very convenient. Werner give's you instructions and then you do the task and if you have a question he's always happy to help.
I am very sad to read the negative feedback before me because it doesn't do justice to this place. I spent the same weeks on the farm as the both did and I can only disagree with everything they are saying (especially because I got in some disrespectful discussions with them as they didn't want to work). So I am happy to clarify some of the things they are saying: We are getting really good food here!!!! Always healthy and we have the luxury of getting tons of bread from a bakery which would be thrown away otherwise which is highly sustainable. If a bread is a bit hard, put it in the oven and enjoy it! Cheese is amazing, it is stored in the cellar and needs to be cleaned from time to time which is totally normal for cheese, lots of carrots and potatoes as well – and surprise, we can have the same vegetables as animals ;-) I am also a bit sad because when the two stayed here, they always told me how much they liked the bread and food, so this is not very honest.. If you're looking for comfort with wellness treatment, you should rather go to a spa. This here is an old farm and it comes with compromises of comfort which should be clear reading Werner's description. There is also some work to do in front of the computer sometimes which is completely fine. Most of the time I was working outside, helping with his art project, I started to felt some wool for his exhibition, worked in the garden, fed the sheep and cleaned the house. Werner is also trying to take part in a programm for assisted living which only speaks for him. This is a professional program where no workawayer gets too much responsibility! In general I can say that I've had the most wonderful time here, making campfires in the evening, going to the river Emme, visiting nice Swiss cities, taking wonderful hikes in Emmental and having amazing bread ;-)
