Hello there!!

I'm Vicente, a young man from Portugal who is eager to meet new people
explore different countries, cultures, ideas, and different ways of living.

I'm a calm, quiet, easy-going person. I just left my job to start traveling, and I'm craving to get my hands dirty and be with nature.

Through work away, I've had experiences that I never thought I'd have, from building mud bricks in Marocco to shoveling snow in Finland to picking turmeric in Nepal. It was from these experiences that I discovered that this is what I enjoy doing, traveling and helping while learning new things and meeting amazing people.

I'm eager to learn New Skills, building, gardening, working with animals, whatever you need help with, I'll happily do.

and don't worry, I'm not looking for a cheap holiday, but instead, looking for an experience, where I'll try my best to help, and do my due hours of work.

Majored in tourism, which came with 2 internships one at a hotel and a one at a boat cruise company, also worked every summer in a pizzeria, either watering or in the kitchen. this gave me experience and confidence in dealing with clients.

I also worked as a freelance photographer for a surf school and have some experience in marketing and E-commerce.

But I found out not too long ago that what I actually enjoy doing is working with my hands.

I've been learning more about the farming lifestyle due to the types of work that farms present on Workaway. I have harvested different types of crops, and have worked with different animals.

I am eager to learn and look forward to physical work in all types of weather conditions.

Had the chance of spending a week with Gagan and the family, what a beautiful experience.

I was the only volunteer at the time, so really got to feel like part of the family, they made sure I was comfortable (and full).

The work was really enjoyable, learned how to harvest curcumin, and helped in the kitchen when it was necessary.

Best work away experience I've had, the family is really welcoming, the work is fun and hands on, and you'll have a lot of free time to relax and explore.

What a great experience, it was my first work away and both Emilia and Andre, made me feel right at home.

The scenery is beautiful, full of nature and mountains, the tasks are straight forward, and as a digital nomad it was amazing how you have a tiny house for yourself, with good internet where you can work.
