Hello! I'm Beatriz :)

If asked about what motivates me and brings me true happiness, I would say a sense of inner calm and balance—having the time to engage in meaningful work while also nurturing myself. After more than two decades as a teacher, I’ve taken a conscious pause to focus on personal growth. I’m currently in a process of rediscovery, and I believe that volunteering can offer me new perspectives, enriching experiences, and connections with people who inspire and challenge me in positive ways.

I enjoy being with others and building genuine relationships, while also appreciating moments of quiet reflection. I’m motivated by the opportunity to share who I am—my ability to listen deeply, contribute thoughtfully, and act with joy, sensitivity, and generosity. It’s important for me to be part of something that aligns with my values and allows me to keep growing both personally and in connection with others.

With over 22 years of experience in education, I have developed strong interpersonal skills and a deep sensitivity to human relationships. My work as a teacher has allowed me to connect with children, families, and colleagues in meaningful ways—always fostering trust, empathy, and respectful communication. Now, as I go through a personal growth journey, I bring even more awareness and presence to how I relate with others, guided by values like authenticity, listening, and balance.
Regarding expertise, I feel really comfortable in building human connections. I’m skilled in emotional support, communication, and creating inclusive spaces where people feel seen and valued. I’m also comfortable using technology as a tool for connection and learning, and I adapt easily to new digital environments. My personal development process has strengthened my ability to accompany others with sensitivity, openness, and emotional intelligence.
As for my skills, I'd say strong interpersonal and communication skills, emotional intelligence and active listening, conflict resolution and group coordination, ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, adaptability in multicultural and changing environments, confidence with technology and digital tools and, last but not least, fluent in Spanish and advanced English proficiency.
