Hello:) Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me!
I’m Tamir, I'm 25 & I’m from the UK. I finished a Chemistry degree at the University of Bristol and I’m taking time out to travel around New Zealand, exploring beautiful places & learning. This year I've been working in Tekapo as a stargazing tour guide & loved chatting to all kinds of people, & I’m keen to meet more from all walks of life! I learn quickly and have a great attention to detail, particularly enjoying working hands on (DIY & gardening).
I've previously volunteered in Vietnam and Indonesia teaching English and helping with farmwork and really enjoyed the sense of community and getting to know people and places at a slower pace, and being able to give something back to the places I'm visiting.
In my spare time I love to explore; I love being in nature, & also love playing music & cooking.

I've worked in tourism and hospitality, so I am comfortable making people feel welcome and teaching in an engaging and accessible way to people from all over the world! I love to work with my hands, especially fixing/building things from scrap materials. I'm super curious and will happily set my mind to whatever task I have to learn so can pick up new skills quickly! I also love to dance salsa, play guitar, and cook.
