I recently joined workaway, after hearing about good experiences from friends, and I love the concept. I am very keen to discover new places, especially if I get to feel more like a local, which I think workaway can be great for. I love learning new skills and being able to contribute my own skills to a project or share them with another person.

I grew up in South Africa (and miss the nature and landscapes there!), but now live in Berlin, in the city. I do get to escape to lakes and forests nearby but I am always keen to have some extended time away in nature, or at least not too far from it.

I am studying biology and bioinformatics and am currently working on writing my bachelor thesis before I start a masters, so it would be great to have a couple of hours a day in a peaceful place to do some writing.

I love to cook vegan food and eat together with others. I also enjoy gardening and walks in nature.

I'm very flexible and willing to try new things! I work as a part time personal assistant for someone, and do all kinds of jobs for them from organising dog haircuts to setting up an online learning portal for their business.
