“About me”
Hello:) I’m shodai. Born and raised in Japan,Yamaguchi which is located next to Hiroshima. And now I’m living in Kyoto for my study.
I’m a university student and 20 years old. I am majoring in culture and education especially how people live in the countryside outside Japan.

“About my personality”
My personality, i’m always said by my mother and father like you are so outgoing and challenger. I am really willing to talk with you, like my experience and home country :) I have so many questions about your country and lifestyle. And if you are interested in Japanese culture, feel free to ask me!

“About my English”
I can speak English well enough for daily conversations.But I’m still learning. If there’s something I don’t understand, I won’t be shy about asking questions, so don’t worry!

“Japanese”
If you need, I would like to help you to learn Japanese and Japanese culture. In my university, I am teaching Japanese to exchange students in their classes as a volunteer!

“Drawing and painting “
I also love drawing and often enjoy creating art based on photos I’ve taken myself
When I was in Nepal, I painted pictures on a wall! My host family liked it with my paintings haha
(you can check out my profile picture for an example of my work!).

“Kids”
I really enjoy spending time with children. I have two younger cousins with a big age gap, and we often meet up and play together during long holidays!

“Cooking”
Since I started living alone in Kyoto , I’ve come to love cooking so if you want to taste Japanese food, I can cook something for you! Also I’m eager to learn making your country cuisine!! If it’s possible, plz teach me! Also I have worked a Japanese ramen restaurant for one year and half.

“Hospitality”
I’ve also worked at a kinda expensive hotel in Kyoto for a year.
At there, I have spoken English for customers who came from other countries with Japanese way of hospitality.

“Sports”
Since I’ve played soccer and practiced kyudo (Japanese archery) from a young age, I’m confident in my physical fitness.

“Farms”
I have experience of volunteering in the farm and take care of Sheep and horses for two months before in Finland. So I have a little knowledge about farming.Most importantly, I love animals so much!!
And I have two dogs in my parents house as well

Just so you know, my driver license is only for automatic since we don’t use manual in Japan.
