Description
**I have committed myself to a workaway host and am no longer available for the summer of 2026.**
Hello! My name is Sarah and I'm looking for a 2-4 week stay to contribute to a community and explore somewhere new this summer (sometime in May/June/July 2026). I have been working at a legal aid organization outside of Philadelphia for the past few years and am looking to explore a new place before I begin law school in the fall.
I have a committed passion for service and would love to temporarily become a part of your life and help out however is needed. I have relevant work experience such as nannying, weeding, farming, dog & cat sitting, and decluttering homes. Additionally, I’ve grown up around horses and have experience with basic care for horses and barn stalls. I’m regularly active and willing to take on hard physical labor to help out! I also have experience backpacking, bikepacking, and winter and summer camping so am very comfortable with a rustic stay and having to be self sufficient.
A little bit about me: I see myself as a kind, curious, and determined person. I love the outdoors and animals… anything that keeps me active outside will make me happy. I fill my free time with reading, biking, running, game nights with friends, and roller skating on the weekends. I have a 4 year old black cat, Yoshi, that is the light of my life. I also love to travel when I can, which is what motivates me to pursue workaway. I also love arts and crafts, play a little guitar, and am a sucker for disco and old soul music.
