  • What else ...

I have always played sports. I played cricket at 'district' level until I was 14 yrs. I have been kickboxing since I was 15 yrs and also play football 3/4 times per week. I am a keen cyclist and have been on two cycle 'tours': the first from Kent to York; the second from Kent to Dorchester.

I am interested in history, art, poetry. I read fiction novels, particularly novels about rural/farming life: for instance, "Lark Rise to Candleford" or "Cider with Rosie".

I am involved in my friend's allotment and regularly plant vegetables which I use in soups/curries etc.

I volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Bristol where I advised people on their financial issues. This became busy during the 'Cost of Living Crisis'.
