I’m motivated by curiosity, connection, and the joy of learning something new every day. I love rolling up my sleeves, getting involved, and leaving a place a little better than I found it. Whether it’s working in the garden, helping with animals, cooking a shared meal, working with kids, or pitching in on creative projects, I believe the best adventures are the ones where you leave with new friends, new skills, and a few good “remember when…” stories. I love meeting new people and I’m always up for trying something I’ve never done before.

I have always been extremely fascinated with Japanese culture and the beautiful language of the country. I am taking Japanese classes and hope to hone my skills by living with a Japanese family during my workaway stays.

I bring a mix of practical, hands-on skills and a flexible, can-do attitude. I’m comfortable with general maintenance tasks, light construction, cleaning, cooking, pet care, and I always am prepared with some card games! I have tons of experience with kids, I've babysat and nannied since I was a teenager. I'm athletic, I played soccer my whole life and am always up for anything nature related. One of my greatest skill sets is my ability to connect with people. I love meeting people from all walks of life and am great in a team setting. I’m also tech-savvy and can lend a hand with tasks like photography, social media updates, or basic computer work. Above all, I’m dependable, eager to learn, and happy to pitch in wherever help is needed.

What else ...

A few things that bring me joy, and some hobbies/interests are painting and art in general. I've been a fine artist all my life and I always have a sketchbook on me. I love playing pool and have gotten pretty good at it, if I do say so myself. My favorite board game is called Rummikub, but I learn learning board/card games from everyone I meet.
