Hi there, we are sisters Ruby and Stella, from Pembrokeshire in Wales, UK aged 31 and 25.
We have decided to leave the Welsh summer behind this year and spend some time in Portugal meeting new people and visiting beautiful places. We both love the outdoors, animals, cooking and music. We have grown up on the coast so love the sea, surfing and swimming. We are very sociable and love to meet new people however, we equally enjoy our downtime.
We are really looking forward to spending the summer in Portugal, making new friends and memories for life.

We have both had lots of experience working in kitchens and hospitality. We love to cook and are interested in food and would love to learn more about growing food and gardening.
We have grown up with pets and feel confident in looking after them.
We are both hard workers and are keen to get stuck into any work as we are keen to learn new skills to take home with us after our trip.

Ruby, 31: I have recently completed by bachelors degree in occupational therapy and am looking forward to spending this summer in Portugal with my sister. I love to travel and have previously travelled to Sri Lanka, America, New zealand and Europe. As my new job begins in October I wanted to take the chance to travel and make the most of the free time I have between now and then. I have been to Portugal a number of times and have always loved every minute of it whenever I have visited! I have used workaway on my previous travels and think its a brilliant way to meet people , learn new skills and learn about the country. I love being in the sea, whether it be swimming or surfing and equally love being on land, walking, running or exploring! Me and Stella have worked together cooking in kitchens for a number of years so would be delighted to cook a feast for our hosts and fellow workaways!

Stella, 25: I have worked as a chef for a number of years and love to cook and be creative in the kitchen. I am really interested in learning how to grow my own food and be self-sufficient. I have previously travelled to Spain and spent a month at a workaway looking after farm animals, which I really enjoyed. I am really looking forward to coming to Portugal this summer and would love to meet new people and learn new skills to take home with me.

Ruby and Stella were super good workers. I only had to explain the tasks once and the jobs were always completed quickly. They always left the house very clean and also did more things than they were asked to.
