    A bit about me:

    - I am a TEFL certified English teacher and work with students online
    - I am building a nomadic, connection-based, sustainable lifestyle
    - I am passionate about yoga, meditation, and community
    - I grew up in a bicultural/bilingual household and speak Spanish

I have worked on many permaculture farms and have fallen in love with sustainable, rural living. Soil is my happy place: watering, weeding, mulching, pruning, potting, transplanting, harvesting, preparing soil beds, and general maintenance in gardens and orchards of all sizes. I am also an animal activist and have stayed in a cow sanctuary, worked with rescued dogs, joined bird watching groups, fed chickens and cleaned out their coops, and made friends with every crawling, galloping, soaring creature that I've come across. I likewise have assisted in several art and construction projects, from colourful mosaic tiling and glass painting to rudimentary adobe house-building. I believe in dreaming big and being as crafty, thrifty, and inventive as possible.

I am also a TEFL certified English teacher and have taught students (elementary to university) in the subjects of language, reading, grammar, and writing. I have previously taught as an ESL teacher at an all-boys school and as a University Teaching Assistant for literature undergraduates. I love working with students of all ages and empowering them to achieve their goals. Currently, I work remotely as a writing teacher!

Before travelling—and while studying—I spent many years in hospitality (customer service in restaurants and retail). Working with people and recognizing their needs has become my strong suit.

But, perhaps, the most important *skill* I have is being positive and open—to ideas, ways of living, and new experiences.
