  • More details about your skills

I’ll be traveling through Europe with my best friend Maya, and we’ve linked our profiles since we’re traveling and applying to opportunities together.

In everyday settings I’m happy helping with practical tasks such as cleaning, organizing, cooking simple meals, and maintaining shared spaces. I enjoy creating welcoming environments and contributing to the daily rhythm of a home, farm, or community space.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and enjoy staying active outdoors. I grew up dancing and swimming competitively and love hiking, exploring nature, and being part of active environments. Professionally, I have seven years of experience working in collaborative research environments. At Dana-Farber Cancer Institute I helped coordinate international research projects, supported communication across teams in multiple countries, maintained program websites, developed educational materials, and assisted with data management and organization. This work strengthened my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills and taught me how to be dependable and proactive in team environments.

I also have a strong background in community work and volunteering. I’ve volunteered for many years with youth enrichment programs, food pantries, and I enjoy contributing to community spaces and helping wherever I’m needed. I have experience working with children as a swim instructor and youth program leader, teaching swim lessons to children from infants to pre-teens and ski lessons to children ages 6–18, including working with children living with disabilities. Because of this I’m comfortable helping with childcare, activities, or creative play.

Through sports, volunteering, and professional teamwork I’ve developed a strong sense of responsibility, cooperation, and leadership. I work well both independently and as part of a team and take pride in being respectful, reliable, and positive in shared living environments.

I love being outdoors and would be excited to help with gardening, animal care, farms, or nature-based projects. I’m happy to help with hands-on work and enjoy learning practical skills along the way.

Maya and I are both flexible and happy to help wherever it’s most useful.

  • What else ...

I love traveling slowly and getting to know places through the people who live there. I’m especially interested in nature, hiking, exploring small towns, and learning about local culture and everyday life.

I’ll be traveling with my best friend Maya during this trip, and we’re both excited about the opportunity to meet people, contribute to projects, and experience different communities in a meaningful way. We’ve linked our Workaway profiles so hosts know we’re traveling together and applying as a pair.

In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, hiking or walking, reading, cooking simple meals, and spending time with friends. I also enjoy visiting local markets, trying new foods, and learning about different traditions and ways of living.

I’m a curious and friendly person who enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds. Cultural exchange is one of the things I value most about traveling: sharing stories, learning from others, and seeing the world from new perspectives.

I value kindness, openness, and respect, and I enjoy environments where people feel comfortable being themselves. During this trip I’m excited to explore beautiful landscapes, learn new skills, and contribute to the communities I spend time in.

I’m always happy to share meals, help cook, or spend time talking and learning from the people I meet along the way.
