Hi my name is Richard, I from the north of england and are travelling around canada for a year on a working holiday visa.

I have been working as a data analyst for 3 years after getting a degree in engineering and am taking a career break to see more of the world and gain some new skills.

I enjoy physical work and meeting new people. I am very personable and get on with anyone around me.
I am a fast and enthusiastic learner, always wanting to try my hand at new skills.

I love being out in nature and have a great interest in wildlife, my other hobbies include playing piano, reading, drawing and boxing.

Previous jobs have given me the knowledge to cook and clean safely and at a high level. I love cooking and regularly cook a variety of meals and make a great Christmas turkey!
I have regularly done gardening for my parents; cutting the lawn and hedges and performing general maintenance.
My degree gave me practical skills I have applied to fixing things around the house.
I have a neice and 2 nephews under 5, I help out my siblings looking after them; mainly for entertainment purposes!
I can speak English fluently and would love to increase my hands on practice skills during my workaway!
