Hi, I'm Leo! 👋 A 27-year-old from Italy 🇮🇹 with a passion for adventure, tech, and making meaningful connections. I'm a blend of fun, professional, and maybe a little too curious for my own good!

🌍 Wanderlust Alert!
After finishing my studies, I packed my bags and began traveling in 2022. My journey kicked off in South America, starting with the vibrant streets of Rio 🇧🇷, and slowly winding my way down to the end of the world in Ushuaia 🏔️, before making the long trek north to Colombia 🇨🇴. Along the way, I also explored Guatemala 🇬🇹, chilled in California 😎, and even ventured into the Canadian wilds 🇨🇦.

After recharging at home (and eating waaaaaay too much pasta), I set off for Asia 🌏 with no return ticket, landing in Thailand 🇹🇭. That adventure took me through the chaos of India 🇮🇳, the beauty of Japan 🇯🇵, and the wonders of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. So random!

And guess what? Now I’m diving headfirst into my African adventure 🌍. Can’t wait to see what will unfold!

🎓 Professional Nerd in the House
Not to brag, but I’ve got a pretty serious academic background. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering 💻 and a double Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction & Design 🤓. I even managed to study at 6 universities in 6 different countries—yes, it was as intense as it sounds! But I love learning and pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

💻 Work & Play
I’m a freelance app developer by trade, solving real-world problems with creative tech solutions. I’ve built several apps from scratch 🚀 and love seeing how technology can make life easier. When I’m not glued to my laptop, I’ve worked in all kinds of roles: as a waiter 🍽️, a receptionist 📞, and event organizer 🎉.

Oh, and I’ve also completed a few Workaway experiences:
- Cruising the U.S. by van 🚐, helping friends with everything from daily tasks to drone videography 🚁 and photography 📸.
- Working at a hostel in Patagonia 🏔️, assisting with check-ins, cleaning, and general maintenance.
- Reception duties at a hotel in the dreaming Galápagos 🏝️, while also lending a hand with guest tours and tech issues.

🏄‍♂️ Sports & Outdoor Fun
If it involves the great outdoors, I’m in! I’m passionate about hiking 🥾, rock climbing 🧗‍♂️, longboarding 🛹, surfing 🏄‍♂️, and snorkeling 🤿. I’m a certified scuba diver 🌊 and I am working on perfecting my yoga 🧘‍♂️ and meditation practices. Gotta balance out all that adrenaline, right?

🎨 Creative Outlet
When I’m not coding or traveling, you’ll find me lost in nature 🌿. I love photography, art, and reading books on science 🧪, social issues 🧠, and, of course, travel. I’ve experimented with body painting 🎨—who knew it could be so much fun? Music is also a big part of my day, with a soundtrack that mixes rock 🎸, indie 🎧, and electronic 🎶.

🔧 Skills & Languages
I love a good DIY project 🛠️ and am always down to help out with anything that needs fixing. As a guest, I adapt quickly and love learning new things. I’ve also hosted a bunch of people on Couchsurfing 🛋️, so I know the value of building connections and respect each other's spaces.

I’m fluent in English 🇬🇧, Spanish 🇪🇸, and Italian 🇮🇹, and always on the lookout to pick up more languages!

I'm responsible and totally indipendent: I live alone and I'm mostly a solo traveller.

Talking about my skills:
- PROACTIVITY: I put this one as first because I believe procastination is the worst habit. You can be the skillest man on earth but if you hold over the commitments you have, the final result is mediocre. Usually when I want\need to do something, I focus and do it.

- BUILDING: when I was 3, my parents gave me Lego and from there I've got passion about building and reparing: from fornitures to motorbikes engines passing through Playstations and other digital stuff. Basically I'm an handyman. I have to admit that sometimes I fix stuff in my own way: usually it is far from the ortodox one but it works (and it's cooler ;) )

- PHOTOGRAPY: in love with it. Mainly landscapes and nature, but also people are nice to photograph :)
I've got a mirrorless camera and 2 lenses, I'm taking online courses. I've just published my first calendar!

- COOKING: I like healty food, so I can have the enery I need to live the day at the maximum. Don't forget I'm Italian ;)

- INFORMATICS: I've studied Informatics since I was a kid. I'm proud to report that once I received a call from Microsoft Talent Team for an intership proposal: such a big achievement!
I'm mainly into apps: I pubblished an app when I was 19yo that has been downloaded more than 300.000 times all over the world! Nowadays I work as a remote app developer for 2 californian guys.
