We are daughter and mother who travel together and individually as well. We have been volunteering for many years in Hungary and Malta.

Petra

Hey there! My name is Petra, I'm 24 years old and I am looking to travel and learn new skills in late spring/summer of 2024! I am especially interested in agricultural and farmstay projects where I can help out with a variety of tasks related to organic food production / infrastructure building / animal care.

I truly enjoy working with my hands and find hard work in the outdoors to be rewarding and good for my soul :) . I have some background in permaculture and organic gardening and would love to expand my knowledge.

I had my first Workaway experience in 2019 when I spent two months in Spain as an English teacher for a lovely family with three children. I find this way of traveling, where both host and volunteer can give each other something valuable to be super fulfilling. I am excited to do more of it and learn all kinds of things in the process!

- I am involved in running two permaculture gardens, one of which is a community space as well. I am experienced with hands on work and also organising NGO things, including CSAs, proposals, projects. I also build websites on WP engine. I teach and organise open days around permaculture in Malta and Hungary.
