We are daughter and mother who travel together and individually as well. We have been volunteering for many years in Hungary and Malta.

Petra

Hey there! My name is Petra, and I am looking for volunteer opportunities where I can learn new skills and meet like-minded people. I am especially interested in farmstay and construction projects where I can get involved in tasks related to organic food production / infrastructure building / animal care.

I have a range of skills which can be useful, such as gardening, cooking, basic DIY, animal care, child care etc., and with a bit of guidance, I am usually quick to pick up new skills too!

I truly enjoy working with my hands and find hard work in the outdoors to be rewarding and good for my soul :) I am very open to all kinds of projects - I think the best thing about Workaway is how easy it is to find unique projects and try completely new things. I find this way of traveling, where both host and volunteer can give each other something valuable to be super fulfilling. I am excited to do more of it and learn all kinds of things in the process!

Hi, my name is Kinga. I am a permaculturist and passionate about Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share.
I love volunteerism I think it is a great way to connect and do things together.
I am happy to help in the garden and in community spaces. DIY and online work is also my passion.
I am active in NGOs, and communities and have many years of experience with community projects.
I am also a workaway host myself.

- I am involved in running two permaculture gardens, one of which is a community space as well. I am experienced with hands on work and also organising NGO things, including CSAs, proposals, projects. I also build websites on WP engine. I teach and organise open days around permaculture in Malta and Hungary.

Petra left yesterday after a two week visit, our only regret is that is wasn't a longer stay! She is simply amazing - a great worker, brilliant with the animals, an excellent cook and a lovely person. Definitely in our all time top ten volunteers. We would be delighted to welcome her back and can 100% recommend her to future hosts.

I spent two weeks with Sarah, James and all their animals (although it felt more like 2 days) and I had a beautiful time. Petra is a very good girl. She is great taking care children because she enjoys it. My children have learned a lot wit her, apart from enjoying playing with Petra. They are going to miss her. She is nice, polite, clean and very loving. It has been a pleasure to live with Petra. 100% recommended
