Description
My name is Melissa. I'm a 33-year-old Italian girl and three years ago I left my long-term job to travel around the world, meet people, discover new cultures, and learn different ways of living. I don’t travel much for tourism, but rather to truly connect with the places and communities I encounter.
I’m a person who loves adventures and is always keen to try and learn new things.
I consider myself calm, adaptable, very friendly, and always smiling. I try to keep a positive attitude and I’m determined when it comes to completing tasks. I have good physical endurance, I don’t mind “getting my hands dirty” with demanding or practical work, and I’m also a fast learner.
Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to be part of beautiful communities where I learned and practiced eco-building and permaculture, lived off-grid, and explored more sustainable lifestyles. I completely fell in love with this way of life, and I’d love to keep learning and practicing as much as I can.
I’d love to be part of (and deepen my knowledge in):
- ecological and permaculture projects
- natural/DIY building
- community life and sustainable projects
- hospitality in guesthouses, refuges, or farm stays

What else ...
I practice acroyoga, sport climbing, and aerial silks, and I also do yoga occasionally. I would love to share my passions by giving acroyoga or aerial silks classes if the context allows it. I also enjoy hiking in the mountains and wild camping.
In my free time I love reading books, watching movies, and playing board and card games too. I have a small collection of very easy but fun games that I can teach you (most of them only require a pen and a piece of paper). :)
