Description
I am a quiet, contemplative person who loves the outdoors and feels intimately connected to nature. I work on the land in all weathers as a gardener with my own business, having studied the biology of plants, biodiversity of growing medium/environment and plant propagation. I live by the sea and go on long walks with my dog. I enjoy the company and conversation of individuals and small groups, like to visit photography/art galleries and practice mindfulness meditation which helps to lead a more conscious existence.

I am RHS qualified horticulturalist which gives me the backgound in plant and soil biology and garden planning/design. I had excellent experience for several years working in a public Victorian garden containing forests and lakes, where, after clearing vast expanses of overgrown vegetation, I was in charge of propagating rare plant species.
My current independent work ranges from pruning small-medium sized trees and shrubs to making compost, growing vegetables or creating a pond. I can do anything in the 'soft landscaping' category from clearing to plant design.
Other than my profession, I am happy to work with animals, do basic carpentry, am a creative cook (I eat mainly vegetarian) and put my hand to most other tasks thrown my way.
