Hello! I’m currently in Melbourne doing my second Workaway in Olinda. My first placement was in Yarra Glen, where I helped with gardening and general housekeeping. I’m now looking for my next opportunity — ideally somewhere I can work with animals or help out on a farm!

A little about myself —I simply really enjoy travelling, learning, and experiencing new things. I’m happy when I’m out in nature, checking out different terrains (occasionally seeing cute random cows while hiking) AND ESPECIALLY ROAD TRIPS! I also love arts and crafts — crocheting, painting, sketching, little DIY projects. I’m into Pokémon too! Mostly, I just like hanging out, spending time with people, and sharing core memories together.

Yes! English is my native language, so I’m confident in teaching or practicing it with others. My Chinese isn’t perfect, but I can communicate fairly well — I’ve often used it with customers in past jobs, though my writing skills are more limited. I’ve also started learning Japanese as a hobby because I really love the language and culture. I can read and write hiragana and katakana, and while I can’t speak fluently yet, I understand a fair amount and enjoy practicing whenever I can.

I’ve been working as a flight attendant, so I’m used to adapting quickly, working as part of a team, and looking after people’s needs. I’m responsible, hardworking, organised and not afraid to get my hands dirty. I enjoy learning new things and pick up skills fast.

I’m also really into creative and practical projects. I’ve designed t-shirts, made posters, built a table, painted walls, and even designed a website. I enjoy arts and crafts like crocheting, sketching, and painting, and I also know how to sew (fixing clothes or small projects).

Around the house, I’m very comfortable with cleaning, doing laundry, folding clothes and helping with daily chores. I can’t cook much, but I’m always more than happy to help with food prep or do the dishes. I also have a dog back home, so I know how to care for pets — feeding, walking, bathing, and of course giving lots of love. I've gotten quite a bit of experience in gardening from 2 workaways eg. weeding, mowing, raking, pruning etc and I'm always happy to expand my knowledge in them :)

On top of that, I studied optometry for a while, so I can even give some basic eye advice if anyone ever needs it. I’m fluent in English (my first language) and Mandarin Chinese, and I’m comfortable with Microsoft Office and using a computer for day-to-day tasks.

What else ...

I enjoy simple board and card games like Monopoly and Uno, though I’d love to try more since I haven’t had much chance yet! I also like console games (especially Pokémon), and in general I’m always up for trying new hobbies or activities. I love spending time outdoors, being around animals, and getting into creative projects whenever I can.
