Description

Hi, I'm Nicolas. I am currently traveling together with Ben and Anna-Fee, two friends from Germany.
We have known each other for years, and after finally finishing University, even with a degree, we are now on this journey. Myself (Nicolas) and Anna-Fee studied Communication Design together, which means that I am quite good at designing, photography, film and programming. I currently work at a media design agency called Art+Com in Berlin, where we build interactive exhibition spaces and museums all over the world.

We are very easy going, grateful for everything and just want to get out there and see the world a bit more. We love good discussions, deep talk of all kinds, no stupid question is safe from us. A good night of card-games also goes a very long way. We just try to find the good way of life, in between awareness, creating and kinda still figuring this whole "life" thing out.

I studied Communication design, which is pretty much the modern version of graphic design. I have worked in this field for several years, from branding and logo design, over designing and programming websites, doing photography and film all the way to working on exhibitions and interactive installations, combining physical aspects like robotics and machine vision with interactive designs. I currently work at Art+Com Studios in Berlin, where I help build exhibits, media Art and museums all over the world. We have even build a beautiful kinetic art peace in Tokyo last year.

Beside the professional work, I am quite crafty, can help with building things like wood, electronics and mechanics. I can work on and repair bicycles pretty well. I am also a good cook, especially in German and Turkish cuisine. I am able to work with computers and have worked a lot with modern AI tools as well.

What else ...

Besides traveling, I'm interested in diving, especially freediving, hiking and cycling. I love to do long bike tours though the Alps and I'm actually planning to do one this July. I also love to sketch, program and play chess.
