I have tons of experience in human services and the helping professions. At my current job I work in a middle school 1:1 with a student who has visual impairment. Previously, I was full time in a mental health residence and I still work there part time. I've learned how to work and connect with individuals who vary on the spectrum of mental illness severity which has been a very rewarding experience. At my mental health job I also gained hospitality experience as I welcomed new clients and worked close with admissions. I had to help make the space beautiful and functional for incoming clients. I also have experience in childcare as I've worked as a nanny for multiple families. My last adventure living abroad in Costa Rica I nannied for a family full time and am still in contact with them. Besides human service, I have a love of animals and experience working as a dog walker in the States. I'm proficient in swimming and have been a swim instructor for 10 years. I'm not up to date on my lifeguard certification though I worked as one for 7 years. I am however up to date on my first aid and CPR training. I'm a very active individual and love to be outside.
