Hi! I'm Miriam and I'm from Italy. I finished my studies in University and I'm willing to take a break to travel and explore the world. I'm new to Workaway and solo travels, but I'm proud to say that I chose to go over stereotypes and fears to take on adventures!

My life has always been on books, but I've always wanted to go out and explore. I'm fascinated by learning about other cultures, getting to know local habits and sharing stories together. I want to travel the world to finally see how it is with my own hands and feet. I love my country, but one reality isn't enough for me. I want to see how other cultures eat, sleep, work, have fun and so on. I want to share my cuisine, my values, my ideas of the world with other people and talk about them. I want to live and be free.

I am a very creative person, very adaptive and empathic. I really like to cook, to try new things and especially to learn. The thought of getting to know another culture by living with locals is crazy and wonderful at the same time and I love that I'm lucky to do it. I'm keen on photography and would like to document my trips with photos and videos, although I wouldn't consider myself a Digital Nomad. I really like to create, wheter it be drawings or graphics.

I've been weel taugth to clean, to take care of the house and to help out. I've also lived on my own for three years, so I can keep a house together.
I know how to cook and I really enjoy it, so we could cook together and share recipes!
I am a very creative person, so I could help out with photos, videos, art projects and things like that. I know about computers and tech, so I could also be helpful for that!
I've always lived with grandparents who had their vegetable fields and animals, so I'm used to farms, mud and to take care of animals.
I can also help out in works to mantain the house, like garden works, general maintenance, DIY and building projects, painting, etc. I'm very keen on doing kind of everything.
I know some languages so I can teach them to those willing to learn.

What else ...

In Uni I've studied Advertising and Cinema. That's why I'm very interested in photos and videos. I've lived on my own for Uni years in Milan, an experience that made me stronger and made me grow.
I really like to hike, to go on walks, to walk pets - simply to do sporty and challenging things.
