I’m Millie! I’ve always dreamed of travelling the world and living in different places. I’ve long been drawn to a life beyond the traditional 9–5—one that is in sync with the natural world.

Naturally, I’m a creative. I’ve always loved to create things- mainly drawings, paintings and stories. I studied art at uni which I loved, but mainly because I was living in Cornwall and could enjoy the beautiful place for three years, more so than my course!

For the past 6 months I’ve been working at a scenic studio, where we make sets and props for the theatre. The role is highly practical and fast-paced, involving long days on my feet and regular use of electric power tools. I’ve also got plenty of hospitality experience, which has enhanced my ability to talk to anyone and everyone, particularly as I love it. From my work experience Ive realised how much I enjoy manual work, as I love to stay active.

My hobbies aside from art are knitting, cycling and gardening. My family have had an allotment for as long as I can remember so I’ve grown up to appreciate the art of gardening.
